The idea is that home produced music projects can always be improved by adding an extra ingredient - other people!
The internet and most of our home computers are now able to send gigabytes of data to each other... so why not audio? and why not use this technology to find real project partners from all over the world? Of course not everybody is a top class musician, not everybody has your taste and not everybody has professional quality recording equipment, but hopefully www.musicollaborate.com will help you find people that suit your needs.
You might want a lead guitar solo - You might be offering your lead guitar playing. Your Band might be looking for a country music songwriter. You might be looking for people to swap tracks with for mixing and mastering. Your band might want to arrange and exchange gigs with a band in another part of the country.
